Pamela Winfrey Non-Member New

A woman who can fish in high heels.

Fiction

Pamela Winfrey is an award-winning writer who has lived two lives: she grew up in Iowa as deer bled out in the garage and moved to San Francisco where she became a writer/performer/lyricist in performances with swinging speakers and singing cows. In between, she squeezed in an MFA in screenwriting, an MA in interdisciplinary arts, and a BA in theater. She has won numerous film and theater awards (15) at various contests and has written and produced four short films which have been seen at various film festivals around the country. She is a published author and received two commissions to write novels about famous Italians: Marconi and Palladio. She is also an art curator specializing in science, most recently cancer and cooperation. Her motley background allows her to write about the complexities of the rural and urban human experience, the implications of science run amok, and to speculate about the future of our species.
