Fiction Poetry

SJ Adams is a writer and lecturer in English linguistics. Educated at the University of Oxford and University College London, he has previously published academic and pedagogical non-fiction. His writing explores the unstable relationship between experience and its representation in language, particularly in relation to memory, consciousness and trauma. He has completed his debut poetry manuscript, As the Colonies Collapse, and his book of experimental short prose, Total Yang Project, was published in 2026 by No Axis Press. His work draws on formal experimentation, absurdism and black humour.
