Shayla Michelle is a 24-year-old writer, artist, and poet. She currently lives in Florida with her partner of five years and their six cats. Shayla comes from a multicultural background, and explores themes of culture, identity, queerness, nature, love-- in all forms-- and grief in her writings. She is currently working on her first poetry collection for publication and has previously had work published in small online journals, including Gypsophila Zine and Radical Catalyst.
