Truth that stays.Fiction Poetry Nonfiction Photography Tammy Sharp is a Louisiana writer and author of the Shattered series, Southern Gothic thrillers set in the piney woods of western Louisiana. She holds a BA in English from Queens University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her poetry has appeared in The Greensboro Review and Louisiana Literature. She is the recipient of the Amon Liner Award for Poetry and was a finalist in the Ruth Lilly National Poetry Convocation.Before turning her attention to fiction, Sharp worked as a newspaper reporter and editor, covering major events including Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. She has also worked as a teacher, tutor, public relations professional, and marketing strategist.She lives with her husband on their farm in western Louisiana, where she writes fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction.
