Graham Allen Non-Member Joined 2022 Graham Allen is the author of Without CovenantFiction Poetry Nonfiction Graham Allen lives in Cork and is a Professor of Literature at UCC. He won the Listowel Single Poem colmpetition in 2010 and is the author of three collections of poetry, the latest of which (Withot Covenanrt) was published by Salmon Poetry. His next colection, entitled Loose, will also be published by Salmon. He has been shortlisted for numerous awards including the Strong/Shine Prize, the Crashaw Prize, and he was one of the featured poets in the Poetry Ireland Review April 2016 issue on The Rising Generation and in Poetry Ireland's 2016 Poetry Day. His poem 'Bright Star, an Elegy for David Bowie' was RTE's poem of the week in 2017.Professor Allen is also the author of numerous academic books on Romangtic Litrerature (especially the work of Mary Shelley) and the theory and philosophy of culture. His books in these areas include, Reprersenting the New AI in Film and Television (Bloomsbury, 2025) and on Jacques Derrida's work on Hospitality to be published in Textual Practice.
