Devastated Poet

Angelica Whitehorne is a writer living in Durham, NC with published or forthcoming pieces in The Rumpus, Fourteen Hills, JMWW, Folio Literary Journal, RHINO, and Southern Humanities Review, among others. Her debut poetry book, PEST, was the winner of the Jacar Press Full-Length Contest and is forthcoming in 2027. She is the author of two chapbooks, The World Is Ending, Say Something That Will Last (Bottle Cap Press, 2022) and Digital (R)age (Ghost City Press, 2025). Besides being a devastated poet, Angelica is a climate tech content writer and the Chair of Community Engagement for @thirdanglepoets.
