A former newspaper journalist, he earned his MFA in Creative Nonfiction at Queens University in Charlotte. His work has appeared in The Winyah Bay Watershed: A Literary Field Guide, The Petigru Review, Iodine Poetry Journal, Ironology 2015, and several newspapers. He also holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Theology, and Religions from Universität Luzern in Switzerland. He lives in Myrtle Beach.
