During his career with the IRS, he received the agency’s and the Treasury Department's highest honors. He later worked extensively in the nation of Georgia and became the first foreign recipient of Georgia’s Order of Honor. He is the author of the memoir War, Love, and Taxes and the novel Whoring in Juneau. He is currently querying the latter.
