Charles Abbott is the world’s clumsiest bartender. He has been published in the Parsec Short Story Anthology Metamorphosis (2026), The Wandering Bard (2026), the Lancaster University MA Anthology Thresholds (2025), and LUX (2023). His short story ‘Grave Robber’ won first place in the 2026 Parsec Short Story Competition, and he has received the ‘Best in Year’ award (2022) and the ‘Paul Muldoon Prize’ (2024) from the Lancaster University Creative Writing Department. He lives somewhere on Earth (allegedly) and writes about death, robots, and weird typography.
