Dagmawi Dawit Woldemariam is a 19‐year‐old queer, transfemme, nonbinary Habesha writer living in Addis Ababa. They have been published in an indie review, Tough Poets Magazine. They turned to poetry to capture the details of living an intersecting life. Their work explores queerness, family, and what it means to become an adult. They have won poetry competitions in smaller communities, including The servers such as Dead Poets Society and Art of Poetry.
