Dark Stories and other Tales from the Misty Coast

Fiction

Dustin Finerty crafts dark fiction, thrillers, and psychological horror rooted in the shadowy landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Writing from Victoria, British Columbia, his stories pull inspiration from the region's dense forests, coastal fog, and quiet isolation, probing the thin line between everyday life and visceral fear.

A multifaceted creator with a background in screenwriting, independent film production, and acting, Dustin brings a cinematic, character-driven intensity to his prose. While his stories lean heavily into dark, atmospheric suspense, he periodically ventures into broader literary fiction—always bound by a commitment to nuanced storytelling and deep human emotion.
