Edith Friedman lives in northern California, US. She admires the ways of people and plants, and tries not to second guess. Her collection Reconstruction won the 2024 Lefty Blondie Press First Chapbook Award. Recent writing appears or is forthcoming in Calyx, Panorama, Solstice, and Rogue Agent. She serves as a poetry editor at CALYX Journal, and holds an MFA from Saint Mary’s College of California.
