Ewan A. Dougall was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, which is probably why his stories are usually full of rain. He's always been a fan of the stylised worlds of Raymond Chandler and Philip Kerr, and stories of knights in tarnished armour who lose more often than they win.

Most recently, Ewan's contributed to The Last Dram (Glencairn Glasses) as part of Bloody Scotland. Other short stories can be found in the Aurora Award-winning anthology The Astronaut Always Rings Twice (Tyche Books), Mystery Magazine, Dark Waves of Winter (Kelp Journal), and Summer Bludgeon (Unsettling Reads). Ewan is supported by his wife and two cats and can be found on Instagram frequently dressed as a superhero (@ewandougall).
