Fiction

Gretchen Keefer often writes (or rewrites) scenes and dialog in her head for fun. Connecting with a local writing group helped to fine tune her writing and encouraged her to start submitting her stories. Gretchen’s short stories focus on the positive and, sometimes, the whimsical. She feels there is always some good to be found. Now retired, Gretchen continues to submit short stories and is working on a short young adult novel. Her work has appeared on CommuterLIt.com, ArielChart.com, The Academy of the Heart and Mind, and in Rain Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Particular Passages: Decked Halls, Voices from the Millpond, and other anthologies. Her short story collection, Quarry Pebbles, is available on Amazon.
