Hilary Hudgins is a poet and novelist whose debut novel PRETZEL has been longlisted for the Bridport First Novel Prize, Disquiet Prize, and Society of Authors McKitterick Prize. She has a master's in creative writing from the University of East Anglia and leads a creative writing group for a non-profit supporting people living with vision impairments. Additionally, she started the Pagefright Society to help her fellow writers get out of their own heads and up from their desks to share with one another in a non-workshop capacity. Much of Hilary’s writing explores the question of how well we can see past the walls of our own perspective, over the edges of borders, both geographic and perceived, and ever really know anyone else. She lives with her partner, Niko, and they miss their dog.
