Chimsomaga Enyokwa is a poet and fiction writer from Nigeria who currently resides in England. She uses her poems to communicate her way of seeing the world, its faults and what it needs to change. She draws inspiration from her Christian faith, her lived experiences (in both Nigeria and England) as well as poet laureate, Carol Ann Duffy. Chimsomaga's works focus heavily on themes such as nostalgia and memory; she also explores political and environmental issues. Chimsomaga's purpose as a writer is to bring together a community of dreamers in a world that has long forgotten how to dream.
