Jo Wright is a parent, poet and part time adventurer, working in the Arts in Birmingham UK. Jo has been writing poetry since her teenage years and has recently returned to writing and performance in the vibrant West Midlands poetry scene. In 2025, Jo was awarded runner-up in the National Book Tokens Poetry day competition, judged by Nikita Gill, and in 2026 three of her poems were selected for performance on the podcast, ‘One Poem Only’. Jo Has upcoming work in Gut Punch Literary Journal and Beyond the Veil Press’s ‘Rage’ Anthology.
