A graduate of the Clarion West Writers' Workshop, he delights in concocting works of speculative fiction and other destinations too whimsy-tainted to describe. As a classics major in college, his influences range from Greek tragedy to the beating heart of Beowulf to the obscure inscriptions of modern fantasy and science fiction.
