Karen Bartholomew writes poetry, haiku, songs, and short stories/fiction. She writes what she see and hears in everyday life, including things that appear to be invisible to others. She is completing a novel that is narrated by a 12-yr old girl named Sassy, whose father is MIA. Sassy lives with her two mothers in a small town, close to family members who are a little bit too honest and carry big secrets. Sassy insists that her story be told ASAP! Karen's poetry has been published 4 x which is the number of times that she has submitted writing for publication. This is now changing since physical existence is fragile and time-limited. It is clear that the reams of writing on white paper need to experience flight--into the hearts of whoever reads it. Karen is the human to "Lucy-The Mighty Chihuahua". Their deep bond enhances the lives of everyone around them. They are both love-dogs actively touching the pulse of Divine Love, as described in Rumi's well-known poem.
