Dale’s poem, “The Final Thing,” was first-place winner in the Kelsay Books’ Poetry Prize for Women in partnership with the International Women's Writing Guild in 2022. In 2021 her poem, “A Question of Time,” was one of only six nominated by Rattle for the Pushcart.

Dale is the author of two full-length poetry books: The Beautiful Unnamed, published in 2015 (KDP) and A Question of Time (2024, Kelsey Books). She is also the author of three earlier chapbooks (Green Fuse Press, Antrim House, and Finishing Line).

She has been interviewed as featured poet in various journals—including The Orchards Poetry Journal in 2022—and has won best-of-issue awards. Her poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies, including the opening poem in Malala: Poems for Malala Yousafzai (2013).
