Leah Korican Non-Member Joined 2016 Writing and making art in Oakland.Fiction Poetry Nonfiction Visual Art Leah Korican is a writer, visual artist, and art educator based in Oakland, CA. Excerpts from her memoir-in-progress have been published in Split Lip Magazine and Heartwood Literary Magazine. Her poetry has appeared in the Noyo Review, Canary, and Literary Mama, among others. She has an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and has attended the Community of Writers Workshop. Her visual art has been exhibited nationally, including a 27-foot papercut at the Nashville International Airport. She is a member of the San Francisco Writers Grotto and Mercury 20 Gallery in Oakland.
