Lee Stockdale has won the United Kingdom National Poetry Prize and other awards. His collections are Bronxville (Finishing Line Press, 2026), Gorilla (Main Street Rag, 2022), and his collection Tower Rat was a finalist for the 2026 AWP Donald Hall Poetry Book Contest. Stockdale's work has appeared in The Guardian, Poetry Review, and elsewhere. The North Carolina Poetry Society selected Stockdale to serve as a Gilbert-Chappell Distinguished Poet.
