Fiction

Maria Marton is a Brazilian-born writer and editor, whose writing focuses on the gut-wrenching feeling of loss, love, family, identity and healing. As well as the tragic truth behind what might have been. A recipient of the Scholastic Art and Writing Gold Key Award for her short story "Love, Giselle", Maria recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing, Publishing & Editing, and English Literature from Susquehanna University. Maria has a passion for editorial work, and her time studying literature and modernism for a semester at the University of Stirling, Scotland, has given her the push to begin writing her own full-length manuscript.
