Matt Thomas is a smallholder farmer, engineer, poet, and novelist. His work appears regularly in journals and magazines. 'Good Nature,' a western, was published by Outlaws Publishing in 2026. 'Cicada, Dog, & Song,' a second full-length collection, was published by Serving House Books in 2026. 'Foxy Love: All-American Poems,' a chapbook, was published by Kelsay Books in 2025. 'Disappearing By The Math,' a first full-length collection, was published by Silver Bow in 2024. He lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
