I am a Midwestern-Californian hybrid living in New York City, a nature documentary enthusiast, and a retired competitive figure skater, with a mildly debilitating addiction to novel writing. I recently received my MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and have been working and writing in the city every sense. My work is rooted in the physical body, its malleability and stubbornness, its grotesque beauty, and its desire for place and purpose. I am eternally inspired by nature, and the sheer complexity and variety of ecosystems our Earth holds in one place.
