Megan Loverde Savage is a queer multi-genre writer with recent work featured in a range of outlets including Rhino, Switchyard, The Rumpus, Tahoma Literary Review, Sixth Finch, and Black Warrior Review. She was selected for the 2026 McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House) Summer Workshop. Her work has received multiple nominations for Best of the Net and Best New American Voices, and has been anthologized in City of Bridges: An Anthology of Community (Tether Books, 2025) and Pandemic of Perspectives: Creative Re-Imaginings (Routledge, 2022). She holds a BA from Bard College and an MFA from Indiana University. Currently, she teaches at Portland Community College, where she helped launch and helps coordinate the Carolyn Moore Writers House, the first and only community-college housed writing residency.
