Mikey Kaminski is a Boston Irish-American poet whose mother was born in County Galway, Ireland. His poetry first appeared in UMass Lowell’s literary magazine, The Offering, in 1995. In 2001, he represented UMass Lowell at the Greater Boston Intercollegiate Poetry Festival and later served as an invited speaker at the New England Poetry Conference in April 2006. His work has also appeared in The Dead River Review.

An educator since 2002 with a Master of Education, Kaminski has taught college students, at-risk youth, and adult ESL learners. For the past four years, he has taught English language learners in Lowell, Massachusetts. His poetry draws on his Irish heritage, family, faith, mythology, and his unique imagination.
