McCaylee Putney holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English from the same university. Her father was a detective in a small town and she spent most of her childhood listening to the stories of cases he was working on or riding along in his cruiser. This spawned her interest in true crime, horror, and the mystery of the human psyche. Her short story "Miriam's Birds" was previously published in Beyond Imagination Literary Magazine. While her current published work is a tragic romance, she specializes in the thriller genre.
