Nadine El yazid Non-Member New Writer of introspection and quiet contradictionsPoetry Nonfiction Nadine writes as a way of making sense of the world within her and the world beyond it. She is drawn to the contradictions and paradoxes that shape human existence and the things we feel but cannot explain, the truths that seem to oppose one another, and the questions that remain long after an answer has been found. Her writing often moves through identity, womanhood, memory, desire, loneliness, and the quiet negotiations between the self and the world. She is interested in the ways we learn to understand ourselves within structures and expectations we did not create, and in the moments when those expectations begin to unravel. Writing, for her, is less an attempt to resolve these contradictions than to sit with them, examine them, and find language for what is difficult to name.
