A rather prolific lyrical picture book writer

My children's book career began with a character inspired by a nickname I received in the Philippines: Sharker The Backpacker. After three completed books and countless outlines and notes about a world-traveling shark teaching us about diversity, acceptance, the many ways to love, global-mindedness, environmentalism, mental health, etc., I realized there were two separate book series growing within it. What I am currently pitching is the second, called the My Dear Dreamer series: picture book texts written as personal letters to the reader that delve into the complex topics listed above in a gentle, lyrical manner. I currently have seven completed texts ready for final review, 26 in the early stages of editing, as well as dozens of drafts and prompts awaiting their turn. My globetrotting shark is also patiently waiting for their opportunity to return to the spotlight, but My Dear Dreamer has had my full attention for the last 2 years working with a writing coach and editor.
