Philip Granof was born in Hollywood, California, and raised in the San Fernando Valley. After a thirty-five-year detour through corporate America, he now lives in Massachusetts and performs regularly at the Cantab in Cambridge. His poems often begin with something ordinary and follow it somewhere stranger. His work has appeared in A Thin Slice of Anxiety, Pink Ochre, Story Tree, Tap Into Poetry, and The Write Launch.
