Fiction Photography

I grew up in the American South - Tennessee and Alabama mostly. But I landed in the Boston area after a stint in Germany to peruse my classical music singing career. I am now back in Alabama because of a family connection here. My desire to write fiction began in the eighth grade when my teacher assigned the class three stories to write, each with a different prompt and guidance. She read two of my stories to the class. This was done within the framework of a particular creative writing program that I took to in a satisfying way. I was looking forward to continuing with this writing program, but alas it never came. I have worked ever since, sometimes with writing groups and with writing courses, or with friends, casually, to improve my craft.
