Zachary Kluckman is an award-winning poet, editor, and literary organizer from Albuquerque, New Mexico. His books include Rearview Funhouse (Eyewear, 2023) and When I Say Ghost, I Don’t Mean Dead (Two Sylvias Press, 2025), winner of the 2024 Two Sylvias Chapbook Prize, selected by Oliver de la Paz. A Thomas Lux Scholar and Kenyon Review Writers Workshop alumnus, he has received the Button Poetry Short Form Award and an International Merit Award in the Atlanta Review International Poetry Contest, selected by Victoria Chang. He was named Slam Poet of the Year at the 2014 National Poetry Awards and placed fifth at the 2022 Blackberry Peach National Poetry Slam. His poetry appears or is forthcoming in Arts & Letters, Muzzle, RHINO, North American Review, Asheville Poetry Review, Crab Orchard Review, and Wesleyan University Press’s Dear Yusef. He is the founder and director of Albuquerque’s Chicharra Poetry Festival.
