Rebecca Evans writes the difficult, the heart-full, the guidebooks for survivors. A Pushcart Prize-nominated poet and essayist, disabled Air Force veteran, and MFA faculty member at the University of Nevada, Lake Tahoe, she has authored three award-winning books from Moon Tide Press: Tangled by Blood, Safe Handling, and AfterBurn. Her work appears in Rattle, Brevity, Narratively, and The Rumpus. She hosts Radio Boise's Writer to Writer and brings writing and art to teens in the juvenile justice system. She lives in Idaho with her sons and four Newfoundlands.
