Ren Crewell-Fuerst haunts the mountains of upstate New York, where they write speculative and literary fiction laced with sharp whimsy and sharper shadows. They bring a trans, queer, and disabled perspective to their work, which can be found in Elegant Literature, Foofaraw, Midnight Magazine, Rat Bag Lit, and several upcoming anthologies. They live with their wife and three cats and survive largely on irony, espresso, and the power of friendship. They are a recent recipient of the Elegant Literature Award for New Writers.
