With a brain balanced between the arts and the sciences, she has managed to harness both her writing and her geekiness in the service of social justice, working both in Australia and the USA. Since 2002, she has worked alongside anti-death-penalty campaigner Sister Helen Prejean. Rose wrote the script for the graphic adaptation of Sr. Helen’s ‘Dead man Walking’, published in 2025 by Random House.
