Saeed Pakan is a 41-year-old Iranian author and holds a PhD in Educational Management. He has published five short story collections in Iran, including Purgatory, Boredom, The Bitter Idea, The Story Collection, and Status Review, with five additional books currently in press. His short fiction has been recognized in numerous national and international literary calls; notably, his story "The Wet Stamp" was selected and published by the Hannah Arendt Center for Human Rights in New York for their 2026 anthology. Pakan's creative work deeply explores human suffering, existential loneliness in a chaotic universe, and the absurdities of injustice. His narratives serve as a profound critique of power structures, institutionalized religion, politics, and dogmatic cultural norms that weigh heavily upon the vulnerable human soul within the labyrinth of modern existence.
