Sari Krosinsky is a queer autistic writer. Ze grew up in Long Beach, NY, where ze started writing when ze was 10. Ze started college at the State University of New York at Binghamton, but finding zirself more committed at that time to activism than academic study, ze dropped out to spend two years as a full time organizer, mostly organizing students to advocate for higher education funding. Then ze followed zir brother to Albuquerque, NM, enrolled at the University of New Mexico and completed a B.A. in creative writing and religious studies and an M.A. in poetry. While studying in Albuquerque, ze also joined the antiwar movement and met zir partner, poet Robert Arthur Reeves, at a poetry reading. Krosinsky and Reeves now live in Bremerton, WA, and are active in Seattle-area literary communities and local pro-democracy activism. Krosinsky has written four books of poetry, most recently Meditating in the Dark, and co-authored a chapbook with Reeves.
