Bearing witness in linguistic play

Poetry

Tess Lockhart is a retired theologian, Presbyterian pastor, licensed medical massage therapist, and internationally-published poet. Most of her publications have been academic theological works with her poetry being like the whispered rumors of medieval Popes' children. But now they're starting to talk with publications in Ohio Bards Anthologies, The Soliloquist Journal, TrashLight, Bards of the Storm Anthology, Sextet, The Pocket Poet, Monterey Poetry Review, Flowers of the Field, Amaranth, Women Speak, and American Writers Review. She won a 2025 Bermuda Triangle Poetry Prize. She lives in Cincinnati where she continues to watch for Spirit lurking in the muck of it all and bear witness to its ephemeral revelation in linguistic play.
