Christopher Ankney is shopping two manuscripts. PALATABLE DUST most recently placed as as semifinalist for the Brittingham and Pollak Prizes at University of Wisconsin Press (2024), while DEAR IRREVERENCE, placed as a finalist for the same this past year (2025) after also being a semifinalist the previous year. DEAR IRREVERENCE, has also been praised in tiered declinations at both Carcanet and The Word Works.

Poems from the manuscripts are forthcoming or can be read in current issues of The Southern Review, The Rumpus, Cleaver, Sierra Nevada Review, The Santa Clara Review, River Heron Review, and The Shore.

Ankney's debut collection, Hearsay, won the 2014 Jean Feldman Prize at WWPH and was finalist for the 2015 Ohioana Book Award for Poetry. His poems have been featured in Boston Review (online), Electric Literature’s The Commuter, Gulf Coast, Hunger Mountain, Pleiades, and dozens of other fine journals over the years.
