William Olsen is the author of five poetry collections, TechnoRage (Northwestern University Press,), Sand Theory (Northwestern UP), Avenue of Vanishing (Northwestern UP), Trouble Lights Northwestern UP), Vision of a Storm Cloud (Northwestern UP), and The Hand of God and a Few Bright Flowers (University of Illinois Press). He was coeditor with Jack Ridl of Poetry in Michigan/Michigan in Poetry (New Issues Press) and with Sharon Bryan of Planet on the Table: Poets on the Reading Life (Sarabande Books). Olsen has been a recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
