Alan Garrigan Non-Member Joined 2021

As a writer, filmmaker, and emerging musician, I am seeking an opportunity to further develop my creative practice through dedicated time, reflection, and artistic collaboration. I hold a Master’s degree in Literature from University College Dublin, a Postgraduate Diploma in Ethics, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Christian Theology from Trinity College Dublin. In September, I will begin a Master’s programme in film at Dublin City University, where I intend to further integrate music composition, sound, and visual storytelling into my creative work. My artistic practice spans songwriting, documentary filmmaking, field recording, live sound, and creative writing. I have independently released a 12-track album on vinyl, including self-produced artwork and visual materials. My music, videography, and writing have been featured in publications including Wordgathering, Washington Square Review, and TriQuarterly, and on the Eat the Storms podcast.
