A lifetime of big feelings bottled with ink

Fiction Nonfiction

Aleah Romer is a queer, neurodivergent author from the glorious Pacific Northwest, USA. She is a graduate of the Rainier Writing Workshop, the winner of the 2026 Ink of Ages Fiction Prize, and a nightmare in the kitchen. Seriously, the culinary skills of her ancestors were not passed down. Her fiction and non-fiction feature themes of coming of age, queer identity, community, and living with (and through) trauma. Aleah's work has been published by Mulberry Literary, Livina Press, and Haunted Words Press. You can find her on Instagram at @romer.aleah
