Amanda Niamh Dawson was born in London. She received her BA in Art History and French at Tufts University, the Ecole du Louvre, and the Sorbonne. Amanda worked in New York at Sotheby’s in both Books and Manuscripts and Old Master Paintings, worked for a stint at Gourmet, then went on to become Associate Style Editor at House Beautiful. She lives north of San Francisco on the Sonoma Coast. Poems have won awards through Poetry Society of Michigan and North Carolina Poetry Society. Work has appeared recently in The Galway Review, Hudson Valley Writers Guild, Action, Spectacle, Ginsoko Literary Journal, Kelp Journal’s 2025 Ocean Anthology, The Ulu Review, Pomona Valley Review, The Ekphrastic Review, Illumen, The Banyan Review, The Dewdrop, The Seventh Quarry, The Piker Press, Woods Reader, and Tiny Seed Journal.
