Bradley (Brad) Earle Hoge (BEH) (He/Him) is a poet, teacher, and occasional photographer from Foster City, California. His poetry is driven by natural metaphor, universal and human. He has published two books of poetry, The Drake Equation and Nebular Hypothesis., and his poetry appears in numerous anthologies and journals, most recently in Ionosphere, Infocalype, Collidescope, California Writers Club Redwood Branch Anthology: Phases, and The California Literary Review, Fault Zone: Reverse. He managed the literary journal Dark Matter while an Associate Professor of Natural Sciences at the University of Houston-Downtown. . He has a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rice University and a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M. He is currently working on an MFA in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University His poetry explores the unfolding of explanation and searches for meaning, not mystical, but challenging to the human mind.
