Hopeful monster

Fiction Poetry Nonfiction

Dixon Wragg has won modest prizes for poetry slam performances, written poetry, short fiction, short humor, and his online column The Gospel According to Dixon (a sneaky attempt to introduce people to the basics of critical thinking). He also writes philosophical essays, light verse, social critique, memoirs, songs--you name it. He has gone from conservative Christianity, even doing a little preaching as a teenager, to social/political progressivism as a skeptical rationalist. Along the way, he has engaged in cross-country hitchhiking, freight train hopping, and lecturing at the International Conference on Critical Thinking and Moral Critique. He hopes that his writing will liberate and inspire his readers while entertaining them.
