Douglas Rappaport Non-Member Joined 2021 Creative storyteller across film and fictionFiction Douglas Rappaport began his artistic journey as a classically trained violinist andcomposer, studying at leading conservatories across the U.S. and Europe. Hisacademic path led him to graduate work at Yale University, followed by an AdvancedStudies Certificate in Film and Television Scoring from the University of SouthernCalifornia. He further honed his craft at Goldsmiths College, and Guildhall School of Music &Drama, among others.Douglas’s storytelling has been recognized across multiple mediums. He wascommissioned for a paid screenwriting assignment by a known movie director, his historicalepic, Prisoner of Heaven, won the Scriptmatix True Story Screenplay Contest, and hisnovel, Reckoner, earned third place at the BookFest Awards. His projects have also been finalists in the Script2Comic Contest and the B!tchfest Film Festival & Screenplay Contest.
