Fiction Poetry

I wrote a lot of fiction and poetry as a kid. Then I stopped, tempted by the pretty colors of cinema. After directing a feature, a bunch of shorts and some music videos, I decided I like the clickety-clack of writing better.

I'm an American living in Ireland. I write some really weird, surreal stuff and am suspicious that some of my characters are secretly conscious entities hiding between the pages. Favorite writers at the moment are Haruki Murakami, Toni Morrison, Jeff VanderMeer, Henry Dumas, Stephen King, Andy Weir and Tim O'Brien.
