J. David Liss Non-Member Joined 2021

J. David Liss is an associate member of the Mystery Writers of America (MWA) and Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. His manuscript THE HACKER MURDERS won the 2025 MWA/NY Leon Burstein contest for first novel. He earned an MFA from Brooklyn College.
Trained in writing and inclined to politics, Liss has worked for government, corporate, academic, and healthcare centers. He authored dozens of short stories published in literary and genre journals as well as a graphic comics app. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and rescue pit bull.
