Kate LaDew is a writer and artist from Hammond, Louisiana, holding a BA in Studio Arts. Her work centers on women’s histories, civil rights, and overlooked historical figures. Her writing appears in EVENT, Sonic Boom, Under A Warm Green Linden and The Maynard. She is the author of the poetry collection what it feels like to be run over (mm/dd/yyyy) from Westbrae Literary Group. Kate lives in Graham, NC with her cats, James Cagney and Janis Joplin.
